Emma McTurk - Founder of Abc Baby Classes
My enthusiasm for swimming has developed from a young age having been part of a swim school for over 15 years and this love has continued through to adulthood. I started by training as an ASA swimming teacher and taught in after school clubs, this sparked my interest in the younger end of swimming particularly babies.
Having been teaching general swimming in my spare time for over two years I decided to make Infant Aquatics my career giving up my full time career in property. I completed my Birthlight training in Suffolk and started the Splish Splash School April 2006. In September of that year Joanne and I met and we decided to work in partnership by creating ABC Baby Classes and am enjoying every moment of teaching.
As a first time mum myself I can really appreciate the benefits associated with swimming at a young age and I have shared many a special experience in the water with my own daughter.
I am now looking forward to offering further mother and baby classes specifically Antenatal Aqua Yoga.
